YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 4)

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 4)

By Adesina Abegunde

Good day to you. I believe you are making progress.
Where currency have failed you, covenant will prevail in Jesus name.
In the last three posts I talked about the main problems that make famine severe and the impact of scarcity heavy on nations, businesses, families and individuals. The three points I gave are;

     1.      Lack of insight, revelation and relevant information.
     2.      Low or no traction for money flow.
     3.      Low or no savings or reserve.

So the question now is what happens to those who did not see famine coming, who have no traction for money flow and also no reserve?

My little advice is to get enough knowledge, insight, and revelation now on how to cope in scarcity and how to prepare for future occurrences. See what can be done now to make some money and do not spend all. And lastly learn to trust in God, because trusting in God is tapping into divine reserve. God is merciful and anything is possible with Him.

In 1Kings 17, 18 and 19, I see people who had no insight, no traction, and no reserve living well. I also see one prophet who had an insight/revelation but did not prepare, had no traction and no reserve who also lived big. They all fed from a divinely arranged reserve, so it was still a reserve that did not make them starve.

Enjoy my little perspectives to these thrilling acts of the supernatural. Feeding from divine reserve.

1.      Miraculous Provision: Elijah was fed miraculously (1Kings 17), first by ravens, verse 4 (NIV) saysYou will drink from the brook, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there.” And secondly by a poor about-to-die widow, verse 9 (NIV) says "Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food."
Note that Elijah survived because he was sensitive and obedient to divine instructions and leading. It is still possible today, yours may not be by ravens or a widow but miraculous provision is still real today. Believe it!

2.      Obadiah’s Access and Assistance: Obadiah kept a hundred prophets of God in a godless government. 1 Kings 18:4 (NIV) says “While Jezebel was killing off the LORD's prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water.)”

Where death was to come to them, daily meals were coming to them. Please note that Obadiah was a righteous man, so he was not stealing from government house, NO! He fed them by what he had access to, resources within his legal reach. Remember I said in former posts that famine is simply low or no flow of resources. The resources are amassed somewhere and few people have access to it.

“Obadiah” refers to people who have access to pile up resources in times of famine. Such men shall locate you in Jesus name. Your Obadiah will remember you and will be willing to assist you in Jesus name.

3.      Unfathomable Bliss: the seven thousand people that God sustained and preserved miraculously in 1Kings 19:18, also allude to the fact that God is more than able to sustain us in famine.

We can only tap into this divine reserve by trusting in God.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (AMP)
7 [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.

CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TRUST IN GOD RIGHT NOW?

Watch out! Your needs shall be met supernaturally in Jesus name.
Wait on God for those unlikely sources of blessings, you will hear God clearly in Jesus name.
Expect your Obadiah’s assistance, it will reach you soonest in Jesus name.
You are blessed for life.

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 3)

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 3)

By Adesina Abegunde

Best of today to you in Jesus name. I hope you are reserving some things already? Reserve some money for important needs and also reserve some energy and emotional strength to think. Stop worrying and fighting, stay relaxed, focused and joyful. Thinks will finally work out for you in Jesus name. You shall not see shame.

In the last two posts I started addressing the main problems that make famine severe and the impact of scarcity heavy on nations, businesses, families and individuals. The three points I gave are;

     1.      Lack of insight, revelation and relevant information.
     2.      Low or no traction for money flow.
     3.      Low or no savings or reserve.
The first two have been dealt with briefly, I expect you to think and research further, and prayerfully make winning decisions. Now I am addressing the last one;

LOW OR NO SAVINGS OR RESERVE
Genesis 41:35-36 (NIV)
35 They should collect all the food of these good years that are coming and store up the grain under the authority of Pharaoh, to be kept in the cities for food.
36 This food should be held in reserve for the country, to be used during the seven years of famine that will come upon Egypt, so that the country may not be ruined by the famine."

Joseph fed everybody without stress from his reserve. Those who have reserves are not afraid of scarcity. To have no reserve is to starve during famine.

What you reserve is what will serve you in famine. What you preserve is what will preserve you. Of course human reserve can be depleted if the famine is greater than the capacity of the reserve. But God’s reserve is inexhaustible. Those who complain in famine had low or no reserve. They ate everything and now there is nothing to eat. Those who eat some and not all, will always have something to eat.

SAVE when there is no need to save in order to be SAFE when there is nothing to save.
Savings will save you in times of famine.

That which you make safe will keep you safe in times of trouble.

There are three problems with savings and I want you to avoid it, they are;
1.      Savings are not safe; the ease of ATM withdrawal, USSD codes and so on may not help you. Make it difficult for you to access your savings account. Perhaps open a new account and do not request for ATM. Prevent frequent borrowing from your savings, assume it is not there except in a matter of life and death.

2.      People want to save too much too fast; save consistently and not conspicuously. Be disciplined, consistent and joyful.

3.      Visionless savings; don’t save for saving sake. Save with a vision, save toward a purpose in mind and that will motivate you to make your savings safe. Have a vision of a major capital project, conceivably an asset, a business, a training, vacation and so on.
So what is the hope of those who have no reserve or that their reserve is depleted? That will be my focus in the next post. God bless you.

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 2)

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 2)
By Adesina Abegunde

Glory to God it is a new day, it shall be prophetically new for you in Jesus name. New mercies, favour, opportunities, ideas, breakthrough, and new level of holiness, purity and excellence in all that you do.
In the last post I started addressing the main problems that make famine severe and the impact of scarcity heavy on nations, businesses, families and individuals. The three points I gave are;

     1.      Lack of insight, revelation and relevant information.
     2.      Low or no traction for money flow.
     3.      Low or no savings or reserve.
The first was addressed in the last post, the need to know ahead and prepare very well. In this post I will be addressing the second point.

LOW OR NO TRACTION FOR MONEY FLOW.
Quickly learn this simple reality of money and it is that MONEY FLOWS FROM REGION OF PROBLEM/NEED TO THE REGION OF SOLUTION. We call money currency, that means it has current, it moves just like wave current or electric current.
It is not static, it flows from people who have needs to people who meet the needs.
It flows from people who have problems to people who have solutions.
It flows from sick people to doctors who cares for them.
It flows from hungry people to people who provide them with nice meals to eat.
It flows from those who have televisions to those who have visions.
When government pays civil servants, the civil servants will pay market people, transportation workers, artisans, landlord and so on. Everyone in turn pays taxes back to government. The money keep moving around and everybody who have something to offer gets some money.

I know by now you will agree with me that money flows.
There are certain things that money flows to such as value, services, goods, product, impacts, integrity, excellence and so on. Wealthy people are those who have a very great traction for money flow. They understand what money flows to and position themselves there.
During famine, a time of extreme scarcity, money flow reduces. Some gets so much, some so little and many nothing at all. The severity depends on where one belongs. When there is financial or economic crisis, it does not mean that all the money disappeared or are all burnt, it just mean that the bulk is trapped in the hands of very few. People reduces their expenses to their basic needs in such times and some other cogent needs.
Genesis 47: 13-26 is a beautiful passage of how Joseph gained extremely high traction by what he reserved in the time of plenty. The people bought with their money, livestock, lands, houses, and finally sold themselves. It was a global traction, money was coming for Joseph from every corner of the world.
So, if you are in business you may need to reposition yourself in order to escape low or no traction of the reduced money flow. You will need to think of what will be the need of the people in such times. Services or production may have to give way to training and empowerment of the masses, possibly at a reduced price but higher frequency or turnover. What has been reserved will be used to sustain the business or family in such a time. But been able to have a high traction for money flow in times of scarcity is a major way to cope.
God bless you and give to you high-traction ideas in Jesus name.

You will know what to do and as you do it diligently, fortune will smile on you in Jesus name.

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 1)

Hello friends, how are you doing? Thanks to God for His sustenance and grace despite the appallingly situation of the national and global economy. My sincere prayer for us is that we shall all be alive to see the moment of plenty in Jesus name.

There is no doubt we are in a time of famine. I define famine as a period of extreme scarcity of basic needs. A time when people are ready to do anything to survive, exchanging their heritage and future to gratify the needs of the moment. You only need to do a content analysis of our dailies or news to agree with me. A moment of scarcity is bound to come, but God does not want us to starve to death.

So, if I may ask you, what exactly is the problem with famine? Is it scarcity? No, it is not! Below are what I think are the problems;
     1.      Lack of insight, revelation and important information.
     2.      Low or no traction for money flow.
     3.      Low or no savings or reserve.
I will discuss the first point in this post and others in two more posts, for the sake of easy assimilation.

LACK OF INSIGHT, REVELATION, and IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
The truth is that quite a number of intelligent and sensitive people saw this famine coming, famine don't set in suddenly except maybe in a time of unforeseen war; there are always indicators and trends. A friend told me of a company whose CEO saw the dollar rise ahead of time and then switched all their means of exchange to dollar, thereby making the proposed profit of several years in less than one year. I was speaking with the CEO of Amazing World (Nigeria), in person of Mrs Olabisi Abiri, and she told me of how God revealed to her such a difficult time ahead and how she strategically planned in order to cope with business. These two people saw it coming and prepared for it, not just to survive but to even make significant progress.

A biblical example that readily comes to mind is the story of Joseph and Pharaoh in Genesis 41:1-57. Pharaoh modeled correct leadership in this passage, he dreamt, identified a challenge, sought solution, and secured enough to delegate authority to another person just to prevent the doom about to cone on his people in seven years’ time. He cared about what is important but not urgent and that saved the world at the time.
Leadership is about dreaming the future and getting to work. He saw fourteen years ahead, seen of plenty and seven of famine.
What if Pharaoh didn't dream?
What if Joseph could not interpret?

Our ability to cope with famine depends on our ability to see ahead and to also prepare for it. Pharaoh and Joseph were not caught up in paralysis of analysis, but they moved swiftly to action. Joseph interpreted and gave solution straight in v.33, and from v.37f Pharaoh gave order to begin to work.

Through financial intelligence, and prophetic intelligence we can know ahead and begin to prepare by saving. We must reserve or we starve.

May the LORD send you help from above in Jesus name.
Every good thing that you are starving from shall be released to you in abundance in Jesus name.
Your need shall be met supernaturally in Jesus name.
God bless you.

From God to you through me,
Adesina Abegunde.
