YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 4)

YOU EITHER RESERVE OR STARVE (Part 4)

By Adesina Abegunde

Good day to you. I believe you are making progress.
Where currency have failed you, covenant will prevail in Jesus name.
In the last three posts I talked about the main problems that make famine severe and the impact of scarcity heavy on nations, businesses, families and individuals. The three points I gave are;

     1.      Lack of insight, revelation and relevant information.
     2.      Low or no traction for money flow.
     3.      Low or no savings or reserve.

So the question now is what happens to those who did not see famine coming, who have no traction for money flow and also no reserve?

My little advice is to get enough knowledge, insight, and revelation now on how to cope in scarcity and how to prepare for future occurrences. See what can be done now to make some money and do not spend all. And lastly learn to trust in God, because trusting in God is tapping into divine reserve. God is merciful and anything is possible with Him.

In 1Kings 17, 18 and 19, I see people who had no insight, no traction, and no reserve living well. I also see one prophet who had an insight/revelation but did not prepare, had no traction and no reserve who also lived big. They all fed from a divinely arranged reserve, so it was still a reserve that did not make them starve.

Enjoy my little perspectives to these thrilling acts of the supernatural. Feeding from divine reserve.

1.      Miraculous Provision: Elijah was fed miraculously (1Kings 17), first by ravens, verse 4 (NIV) saysYou will drink from the brook, and I have ordered the ravens to feed you there.” And secondly by a poor about-to-die widow, verse 9 (NIV) says "Go at once to Zarephath of Sidon and stay there. I have commanded a widow in that place to supply you with food."
Note that Elijah survived because he was sensitive and obedient to divine instructions and leading. It is still possible today, yours may not be by ravens or a widow but miraculous provision is still real today. Believe it!

2.      Obadiah’s Access and Assistance: Obadiah kept a hundred prophets of God in a godless government. 1 Kings 18:4 (NIV) says “While Jezebel was killing off the LORD's prophets, Obadiah had taken a hundred prophets and hidden them in two caves, fifty in each, and had supplied them with food and water.)”

Where death was to come to them, daily meals were coming to them. Please note that Obadiah was a righteous man, so he was not stealing from government house, NO! He fed them by what he had access to, resources within his legal reach. Remember I said in former posts that famine is simply low or no flow of resources. The resources are amassed somewhere and few people have access to it.

“Obadiah” refers to people who have access to pile up resources in times of famine. Such men shall locate you in Jesus name. Your Obadiah will remember you and will be willing to assist you in Jesus name.

3.      Unfathomable Bliss: the seven thousand people that God sustained and preserved miraculously in 1Kings 19:18, also allude to the fact that God is more than able to sustain us in famine.

We can only tap into this divine reserve by trusting in God.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 (AMP)
7 [Most] blessed is the man who believes in, trusts in, and relies on the Lord, and whose hope and confidence the Lord is.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters that spreads out its roots by the river; and it shall not see and fear when heat comes; but its leaf shall be green. It shall not be anxious and full of care in the year of drought, nor shall it cease yielding fruit.

CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TRUST IN GOD RIGHT NOW?

Watch out! Your needs shall be met supernaturally in Jesus name.
Wait on God for those unlikely sources of blessings, you will hear God clearly in Jesus name.
Expect your Obadiah’s assistance, it will reach you soonest in Jesus name.
You are blessed for life.
