(Part 2) LEADERSHIP IS GIVING
Leadership
is giving. Nothing more, nothing less.
By Adesina A. Abegunde
It is the beginning of
a new working days, God will protect and bless your going out and coming in
Jesus name.
In the Leadership is
Giving (Part 1) post last week, I established that leadership is giving, so now
I want us to look at what leaders give.
What exactly are leaders
to give? Great leaders give the following;
1. Their
life (not necessarily dying, Jesus died for us, but living for a cause)
2. Time
3. Money
4. Knowledge and Wisdom
5. Resources
6. Power
7. Ideas
8. Comfort
9. Motivation
10. Their
Best
11. Room
for failure
12. Love
and confidence
13. They
give up selfish ambitions and desires
14. Vision
15. Direction
16. Courage
17. Love
18. Hope
19. Support
20. Chance
to succeed and wings to fly
Come to the reality that no matter your leadership level, you can’t give everyone everything they need
Consider the little boy
with five loaves of bread and three fishes in Matthew 6:20. Whatever we keep to
ourselves will reduce and vanish, but when we give and share, it will multiply,
bringing satisfaction to many and posterity.
God has called you to
be a leader and that means to give, to contribute and not just consume.
What are you giving to
your family in order to release their potentials? What are you contributing in
your workplace? What will you like to give to your company this week? What can
you give that will make people around you better this week?
Think about it and give
your best.
I will round up this
topic next week Monday, so watch out for LEADERSHIP
IS GIVING (Part 3)
I pray against negative
implications against you this week in Jesus name.
Your path and the path
of the destroyer will not cross in Jesus name.
You will escape every
calculated tragedy against you in Jesus name.
The current economic
condition “may not smile”, but Jehovah God will smile on you with favor in
Jesus name.
Unusual help from
unexpected places will locate you in Jesus name.
Stay blessed and
fulfilled in your various leadership roles!!!
