THE SEAT BELT

THE SEAT BELT
ADESINA ABEGUNDE

The Car is full of so many parts that do not seem like their applications can be applied to the real life. For the next few weeks, we would be talking about the various parts of the car and their real life applications to us. Enjoy the ride!

We all know how an individual can get into trouble when caught authorized forces driving or seating in the car without wearing the seat belt. The seat belt looks very useless sometimes. In fact, it is possible for you to touch your toes while wearing the seat belts and it looks as if the belt has no effect.

But just imagine when the driver slams on the brake, imagine what miracle the seat belts perform when the car suddenly come to a halt. All of a sudden, the seemingly slack belt becomes firm and holds you right in place, preventing you from danger and unforeseen calamities.

LESSON FROM THE SEAT BELTS
It looks sometimes like the lessons we are learning have no instant effects or immediate applications in our lives. Lessons like patience, anger management, correct human relationship etc., but someday, when situations arise, those lessons would serve as seat belts and preserve us from destiny wreck.

In the same vein, the prayers we pray seems not to be answered immediately. But be sure that one day they will answer for you.

The givings we do seem not to bring instant reward, but be sure they will not go in vain. The diligence you are giving to your life now will someday answer for you.
The love you show to someone undeserving will not go in vain.

So, do not get discouraged doing what is right and whatever God put in your mind.
Next week on Weekend Gist, I’ll be sharing with you some Insights from the Rear-view Mirror.

As you go through this weekend, God will deliver you from sudden or gradual calamities in Jesus name.
Every longstanding prayer point is going to become outstanding testimonies in Jesus name.

Your burdens are lifted and yokes broken in Jesus name.
Joy unspeakable and peace like a river will flow into your life, family and work in Jesus name.

As you drive around or sit in a vehicle this weekend and onward, I hope you will do some personal learning even before I get to share them. I invite you to let us learn together.

Enjoy your weekend.
