HOW TO GET THE BEST THIS MONTH

TEXT: 1Peter 5:7

Welcome to the month of August, I see God lifting your burdens, breaking your yoke, giving you insights, empowering you by His Spirit and causing you to go forward without stress in Jesus name.

In this month of August, God is set to lavish you with His Divine Care, He asks you to cast your cares, worries, and anxieties on Him. He asks you to be carefree, not careless. He is calling you to experience the miraculous by just trusting Him.

Many people are only counting months and many others are counting miracles. If you will count miracles and not just days this month, certain things must be done. AUGUST will be used as an acrostic so that you will easily remember how to profit in this month of August with God’s Word and get the best of the month.

           A-  Appreciate God (Malachi 2:1-2)

As you appreciate God, things begin to appreciate in your life which brings improvement and progress. Appreciate God by worshipping Him. Take appreciating God serious, it attracts and preserves blessings from God. Do you think you are grateful enough for all that God has done in your life? Do as much as you can, because you can never do too much of it. Look back, think deep, count your blessing and give God the praise that is due Him.

U- Understand the will of God (Ephesians 5:10, 15-16)

God’s will for you this month is that you enjoy His care now and forever. Understanding God’s will and giving diligence to do them is what will make this month outstanding for you. Search your Scriptures and recall to mind the general will of God for human kind and His children and do them. Then proceed to seek His specific will for you personally this month and act in obedience. Give attention to all that please God, it works miracles.

G­- Give (Acts 20:35)

Give to God, give to people, give to your community, give to your family. Give attention to things that matter, give diligence to the things you do, give love, give help, give hope, give things, give money, give respect. Find someone to bless this month no matter how little. No gift is little all you need is to package it well; you can give a new pen, just put a ribbon around it and with a big smile bless someone with it.

U- Unpack your burdens and worries (1Peter 5:6-7; Psalms 55:22)

Trust God with your burdens and worries. When you are tempted to worry, worship God. You cannot worry and worship God at the same time, you will have to choose one. Choose to worship, it does wonders.

S­- Seek more Christlikeness (Romans 8:28-30; 2Corintians 3:18)

The end result of our walk and work with God, our Fellowship with the Brethren should be to attain Christ likeness. This is the whole essence of our being.

T- Trust in God (Psalms 33:16f; Proverbs 3:5)

As children of God, trusting God is very important in our walk with him. You can’t receive the best from God if you don’t trust him.

So, ride on and enjoy the cruise of the miraculous in the month of August
