Our God is an ever progressive God. The Bible tells us in
Deut1:5-8 of how God had to tell the Israelites that they had “tarried” to long
on the Mountain. That tells us something about God. He is an ever progressive
God and does not want us to remain in one spot.
Stagnation in Latin is “Stagnatum” meaning “Standing Water”.
Stagnation is a state of Inactivity. It means not moving. Stagnation is like a
Poodle of water that attracts mosquitoes. A stagnant life attracts harmful
things or people. Stagnation can also mean a state no or low growth, a state of
dullness, dryness or even sluggishness. A life full of mundane things is a
Stagnant life. When there is no new thing in your life, no new vision, no
excitement, there is Stagnation. The Christian life is a Bubbling life because God
does something in a person’s life all the time.
Movement does not connote Progress. It is not enough to move
forward but is the speed enough to reach your destiny? Stagnation eventually
leads to waste of destiny.

HOW TO BREAK THE YOKE OF STAGNATION
1 1) Awareness from God
Before the yoke of Stagnation breaks, there is the need for
awareness about stagnation from God. You will agree with me that when God does
not reveal a particular thing to a person, such person remains in darkness. So
until the voice of God that brings awareness to us about Stagnation speaks to
us, life of Stagnation will continue.(Deut1:5-8)
2 2) Dissatisfaction with Stagnation
There is the need to make a firm resolution against Stagnation.
3 3) Readiness to pay the Price.
Most people wants to make huge progress but are never willing to pay the
price. Progress comes with a price. Progress is never cheap.
4 4) Shed unnecessary activities
Just as Load or weight would not make any athlete to run well
and win, so also will unnecessary and mundane activities hinder progress. You won’t
have enough time to do what is big enough if you are occupied with small
things. Shed unnecessary activities.
5 5) Be a Giver
Give a lot. Not just money, give kindness, give love, give
help, give knowledge. Learn to give. The life of a Giver is always a receiving
Life. It’s not always about money. Sow seeds. What you do with what you have received
brings Progress
6 6) Trade you current Security to secure
your Future (Deut1:19)
Leave your comfort zone and take risks. Not just any risks.
Take Calculated-Holy Spirit-inspired-risks. Every prophecy needs a risk-taker
to happen. Some miracles will continue
to be in the pending box as long as there is no boldness and courage to take
risks. In trading your current security to secure your future, Faith is needed
because it imparts Courage to make bold decision. Face your Fears and your Fear
will phase out.
7 7) Obedience (2Kgs7:5;Lk15:20)
You must know what to do and do what you know. Oftentimes,
people just stop at the point of knowing what to do but never doing it. Until
you arise to act, you won’t rise. Willingness to do something does not equate
to doing it. Divine help can only be enjoyed to the degree of our own
obedience. (2Cor10:5-6;Mic6:8). Obedience moves us into action so that God can move
into action over our lives. Obeying God makes the Devil want to threaten us but
relax, he is a failure already and is only being afraid of the power in your
obedience.
8 8) Prophetic Intervention
God sends his servant to prophecy upon a life to break yokes
of Stagnation. How you receive them determines if you will receive all that God
has for you through the Prophet.
9 9) Apostolic Anointing and Challenge
Apostles lead people into demonic territories to break yokes.
The Apostles Anointing give what money cannot give. Obedience to Apostolic
Challenge and Anointing breaks yokes of Stagnation.
